Emotional Roller Coaster! I loved the year of the purple! There are so many twist and turns, you are not sure what’s coming next. Your emotions will range from happy to sad to mad and back to happy. I love seeing how Maddi and Asher’s characters are evolving into their powers. I am also excited to see the characters from the Supernatural Prison series making appearances as teachers and mentors. I can’t wait to see what the next book brings.Lots of twists and I loved it! Ok, I really loved this book. I finished it in one day it was that good. I got really upset about 30 percent in and wanted to cry. BUT i know this author wouldn’t disappoint and I would figure out eventually what was going on. The storyline was not what I had thought and it was more amazing then the last. So, if you get to the part I did stick with it. I’m so excited for the next book and it was pretty cool seeing characters from other books show up in this one too.The Astounding Year of the Purple I honestly have no idea how Jaymin can keep pumping out amazing books, one awesome story after another. This new sequel will make you feel so many different emotions, points where you want to cry as well as other parts that will make you laugh out loud. Maddi is one of the strongest characters I have ever read about, and even though this is an imaginary world, she encourages you to have strength in the real world. I cannot wait for the next book to come out!
